Thanks to the tireless efforts of Acupuncturists Without Borders and its volunteers, acupuncturists in New York City, Westchester and New Jersey have been offering free acupuncture to people affected by Hurricane Sandy. Acupuncture is being used to help reduce the stress, trauma and anxiety of being displaced from your home and suffering other loses.

The LGBT Community Center has graciously donated a room to Acupuncturists Without Borders to use on Wednesday, November 7th, and Thursday, November 8th, so that we can offer free auricular (ear-only) acupuncture to residents of Chelsea, the West Village and all New Yorkers feeling a little, or a lot, stressed by Hurricane Sandy. Treatments last about 30 minutes. Feel free to stop by some much needed stress relief. All are welcome. This is also a great opportunity to check out all of the resources the Center offers.
