Dylan Stein Acupuncture is now accepting FDNY’s insurance for acupuncture for FDNY employees injured on the job. If you work for the Fire Department of New York, you can come for acupuncture treatments with no out of pocket cost. All you need is an authorization form from Nursing, and you’re good to go.

Accepting insurance from the FDNY doesn’t change our existing discount offers to active duty servicemembers, veterans, EMTs/paramedics and police officers. We’re still offering these discounts for acupuncture.

Working with these communities is very important to both Dylan and Jinhee. It’s our way to give back to people who risk so much in the line of duty. Dylan was driven to find a way to work with the FDNY in particular by what he learned from his father, a retired volunteer firefighter and captain in the Civil Air Patrol in New York (Lt. Quentin Roosevelt Cadet Squadron – NER NY 288). You can read more about Dylan and his dad in this blog post.

(We also offer discounted acupuncture services to NYC public school teachers, principals and staff.)

Do retired members qualify also? And their spouses?

    Thank you.

    • If you still have FDNY insurance, you should be able to come in. Email the office with your information (full name, date of birth, and plan information), and we’ll be happy to check it out for you.
