Do you have a flexible spending account (FSA) or healthcare spending account (HSA)? If so, you can use that money to pay for acupuncture. Acupuncture is an eligible expense for FSAs and HSAs.

An FSA/HSA uses pre-tax dollars to cover eligible expenses related to your health care and wellness. New York State has some special rules about these kinds of accounts, but they don’t affect acupuncture. Acupuncture is an eligible expense no matter what in New York, so you won’t have any trouble using your FSA/HSA to pay for acupuncture.

Better still is that Dylan Stein Acupuncture is registered as a healthcare provider with our credit card processing company, so you can use your FSA/HSA credit card in the clinic at the time of your visit to cover the cost of acupuncture or your co-pay or co-insurance if you’re using insurance to pay for acupuncture. You won’t have to worry about getting a receipt, submitting a claim, and waiting to be reimbursed because we take of everything for you.
